New Blizzard IP _ new Star Wars games and Pokemon Legends_ Arceus _ This Week Part 2

is indeed a Star Wars first person shooter. I agree. I mean there have been some great Star Wars first person shooters like Republic Commando and Dark Forces but you already have a first person shooter focus studio that can do this. They're called Dice and you have exactly one studio that makes Titan 4 3 and they are called Respawn, we couldn't have come up with a different resource allocation here, this is a disappointment for battlefront fans hoping for a sequel to this series and a disappointment for titanfall fans hoping that ea will do something with a of the greatest shooter franchises of all time would begin. the third star wars project isn't exactly a respawn project This team is making a new star wars strategy game that could probably be something like star wars xcom given the experience of the developers. It could be pretty cool that they take the developer lead on development of it while Respawn oversees the project as producer, so the future of the Star Wars franchise in the world of video games is blindingly bright, so maybe Lego will bring this open world into giant studios respawn, the other one from Quantic Dream probably some others I'm forgetting, we're going back to that golden age when lots of different publishers and developers were making star wars games, which surely must be a lot better than ea, which has a licensing monopoly and just two out of six games released just briefly Crisis Four was announced today, with the news first leaked in China before being quickly made official by Crytek's official announcement. All we have at the moment is a teaser trailer showing very little but hey it's in development and won't be releasing anytime soon so we all have something to launch our rtx 5090 gpus with in a few years finally melting, and some very big news from microsoft, i mean blizzard i mean microsoft blizzard wow, that sounds so weird that microsoft blizzard introduced a new game this week, sort of a post on blizzard's website titled create a new universe with us and it says Quote Blizzard embarks on our next quest we embark on a journey to a whole new universe home to a brand new survival

Game for PC and Console A place full of heroes yet to be met Stories yet to be told and adventures yet to be experienced A vast realm of possibilities waiting to be explored Closing Quote The rest of the post is actually a job ad, it seems like an odd way to reveal a game, but the talent shortage in games is so severe right now that publishers are being forced to show their hands much sooner than ever in hopes that they'll find talent for being able to win their projects, which is one of the reasons for the fragmentation Cell recently revealed that the talent shortage has obviously impacted Blizzard much more than most, given the state of the work culture that resulted in many people leaving and fewer people dying Realizing plans for this reveal would certainly have been before the Microsoft acquisition, so it will be interesting nt to see if Blizzard's attitude issues persist with the promise of new leadership as far as the game itself is concerned. Yes, I'm ready for a Blizzard survival game. Blizzard's formula has all the ways of taking niche genres and then smoothing them out so they're ready for the mainstream, that's why they've had so much success with Warcraft and World of Warcraft and Hearthstone in particular. The survival genre is long overdue for an aaa love it's still dominated by Grinning, frustrating arcade game design elements, it just won't go away no matter how many people complain about it. Valheim has shown us a vision of the future of this genre, and in like I don't know six years, Blizzard may be showing us another i Personally, I'm excited for this one, so what can be announced or postponed this week? First off, Legend of Zelda Majora's mask is out now on the Switch. This emulated version of the time warp classic suffers from the same emulation issues as Ocarina of Time, but I'm sure we'll see some clips on Twitter if that's the case so far so good The longer we go on without hearing anything about the upcoming Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy, the more we're all becoming convinced that this thing won't be released in 2022, as we feel our expected skepticism, the developer has updated its website with the post reaffirming a 2022 release until I see this game in motion

i'm going to keep my finger firmly on the x to doubt button for this one people say the biggest news of the week was the microsoft purchase of activision blizzard but they are wrong because ladies and gentlemen peppa pig is coming to next gen that's right the bar has been raised with the definitive edition of 2021's game of the year it features 12k 480 fps visuals sony's proprietary tempest engine has been employed to provide an immersive 3d audio experience during madame gazelle's music lessons and the dual senses haptic feedback makes you really feel those daddy pig snorts like never before i made all that up by the way i just wanted to show off that i know about peppa pig stuff because peppa pig rules anyway two delay announcements this week the first is for dying light 2 psych it's just for the switch version relax everybody okay calm down the switch version is going to be cloud streamed it's not running natively on the switch's antique hardware and teclan has said that this version could be delayed up to six months they didn't provide any specifics as to why they just said the standard line about needing to bring it up to playerexpectations that's fine by the way but it's very late to announce a delay thatbig given that this game is out like next week the other delay was for ghost runner dlc titled project hell this was meant to launch in february but has been delayed to march 3rd again with the developers saying they needed more time to bring things up to scratch fair enough so what came out last week aka the review roundup first up was drink boxes nobody saves the world while this one has struggled to get on most people's radars it certainly hasn't struggled with critics it's sitting at a strong 80 on open critic but i think that number is soft and i'm more like to go with steam reviews on this one which currently have it at around 91 very positive ign were a little muted on this one scoring at a 7 out of 10 saying quote the middle of nobody saves the world
