Rainbow Six Extraction really_ really blows (Review) Part 3

Mindlessly shoot until it's dead for five minutes, like I couldn't think of a more inopportune boss encounter for this video game than this one, so the final game mode is called Maelstrom and it will take you a while to get used to it, probably at least 12 plus hours depending on how well you play I had no idea what that was, but this game had shown me so little up to this point that I was secretly hoping this game mode would deliver something truly unique and worth playing when whether the rest could I was kind of lengthy leveling tutorial experience but the real game starts here. You know exactly how this story ends. So this game mode consists of nine missions in a row. Your average map is three missions in a row, and this mode is only nine missions in a row, that's it, this doesn't happen in a new location, there are no new maps, there are no new enemy types, there are no new objectives, there are no new modifiers, there is nothing new, it's just the same [ __ ] nine times in a row you can only do this on the hardest difficulty, but the first three missions are essentially gimmicks as they are the easiest target types and only be rated one star so they are just pie walks we got to the end the two star missions so we let you know up to six out of nine and then we died because the game just starts, throwing a stupid number of enemies at you and starving you out of ammo and health and all that kind of [ __ ] the best part is that all nine of these missions n take place in the same area, so it's a three-map spin, and you go through them once, and when you've done that, you go through the same three maps again, only this time all the enemies have been moved around and the objectives are different , like they can't even toss you between different places while they're doing that, they just walk like you're walking in a literal circle, do three maps three times each, the reward for that is a hat by the way, uh, if you get it all you get like the diamond hat w we got the silver hat and that was enough for us as we were all just really excited to uninstall the game up to that point which is the entirety of rainbow six anyway

Extraction It is a list of Operators that are already available in another game A set of enemies that you have already fought in a free seasonal event A set of maps without an identity A set of repeating mission objectives, their receipt and a Series of endings quickly tire gameplay modes that are either at odds with the core game but are so phoned that they might as well not exist at all if I were to diagnose this game's critical error if Ubisoft hadn't figured out a number of enemies and scenarios , pushing the player back in the same way as a player-controlled operator in siege. There are no strategic enemies in this game. There are only enemy counts. Health and brute force that can keep you on your toes or introduce a random unexpected element into the mission flow like PvP enemies constantly do in Siege, when they don't the game is all about you playing with full VI sneaking around Though the enemy will silently assassinate them with ease and then mow them down in mindless horde-style gameplay when it's time to party, there's an essential middle ground missing here, and the oversight is irremediable

and while we're on the subject, the republic of writers was really fun too and i admired the watchdog's legion for their ideas and ambition, although it wasn't quite as fun as it should have been, so i got these little speech but rainbow six extraction is so bad, so phoned, so imaginative and effortless that i can't give that speech in good conscience this time, i can't, i can't believe a development team more than four years worked on it, I can't believe Ubisoft thought this would be enough to justify a price tag of 80 and microtransactions on top of that. This is the rock bottom of Ubisoft's recent release portfolio based RPG so they could monetize this loot system but at least they tried to do something even if it sucked that just feels like a game that's been in development hell for years and showed up at the end of the year As it's just the things that Rainbow Six Siege left behind and nothing substantial to add, given the state of play I'm not surprised that Ubisoft lowered the price and pushed it onto Game Pass since Ubisoft over internal feedback systems Well, and all of those systems must have been flashing red when this was about to release. This is a new low for Ubisoft and as I played through it all I could think about was how much development time and talent must have been wasted creating it and I wonder what these individuals could have done and created if they had been given the freedom to do anything other than that, I don't recommend Rainbow Six

extraction folks it's 2022 it's time for realistic new years resolutions none of that eat healthy go jogging take better care of myself nonsense none of that is gonna happen so here's my new years resolution more TV, I'm not even joking By the way, I still haven't finished Hawkeye and I haven't even started Witcher season 2 yet.
